Conceived in early February 2012, No/Gloss Film Festival was born out of a need for a local film festival that supports independent film-making. Cartoon Club, International Animation and Comics Festival, was born in 1984 (this year it's its 29th birthday!) and today is the biggest movie event on the north-eastern italian coast. It takes place in Rimini, both in the historical downtown and on the seaside and it opens its program during the whole month of july. The central part if the festival is the third week, with more than 300 shorts, 6 awards, from 4 to exhibitions,workshops for children and much more.

About the Festival:
Each year over 2,500 fiction and animated films from more than 80 countries are submitted for nominations to the competitions. The films submitted may not be more than two years old and no longer than 30 minutes. At the end of each festival the juries pick the best films in the various categories and award a total of eight Golden Horsemen and prize money amounting to approximately €64,000. In addition to the competitions, the festival also has an extensive selection of special programmes focusing on a wide range of subjects and countries, as well as retrospectives and children's films. This also includes a series dedicated to a specific area each year with several film programmes dealing comprehensively with it. Up to 200 films are screened annually in the special programmes.

Die DVD zu Zweibettzimmer ist fertig. Zunächst ist es eine reine Promo DVD für Festivals, ohne zusätzliches Material. Für einen späteren Zeitpunkt ist noch eine DVD mit Menü und Sprachauswahl, sowie Zusatzmaterial geplant.
The DVD for Double Occupancy is finished. For now the DVD is just a Promo DVD without any features. For the future a DVD with language selection, subtitle selection and background information is planned. Stay tuned for upcoming news!

Nach einem langen Weg von ca. 3 Jahren waren wir am Ziel -wir konnten gemeinsam den Film fertig stellen. Retrospektiv betrachtet ging die Produktion durch Höhen und Tiefen, durch Phasen, in denen die Produktion brach lag und Phasen, in denen konzentriert simultan gearbeitet werden konnte. Ich möchte meinem sehr engagierten Team für die vielen kreativen Einfälle und Ideen, für euer kritisches Auge und das Durchhaltevermögen danken!
After a long run the short film ZWEIBETTZIMMER (Double Occupancy) was finally complete and ready to hit the theaters (well, for Filmfestivals so far...)! I want to thank everybody in the team for your ideas and your feedback, your patience and finally of course for your fine work!
